Panoramic photography of bridges

Bridges as a sign of communication, connection, facilitating a journey, bridging obstacles are the subject of this series by Markus Bollen.

The result is timeless photos of the architecture, which also place the bridges in their respective context. His photographs of the Storebelt Bridge have become famous, in which not only the night atmosphere of the almost completed structure, but also the decommissioned ferries in the foreground indicate the changing times.

Walking means missing the place.
